Ellen Nordberg

Ellen Nordberg’s stories have appeared in The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, The Denver Post, The Huffington Post, Yahoo, Parade, Rodale, American Fitness, Colorado Runner, and 5280 magazine, in addition to numerous anthologies. She’s a co-producer of the Boulder Listen To Your Mother show, and has been a featured storyteller in the “Truth Be Told” Story Slam. Ellen’s funny parenting essays can be found on Errant Parent, Scary Mommy, Blunt Moms, Mom Babble, and in Colorado Babies and Boulder Lifestyle magazines.

“Stories on Stage” has twice performed her stories, she holds a Colorado Author’s League Award for essays, and she was voted Best Magazine Writer by the Boulder Writer’s Workshop.

She lives in Colorado where she teaches water aerobics, performs stand-up comedy and makes a futile effort to keep up with her college-aged twin boys.
